OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Site Logistics & Support Manager to lead all site logistics operations within a large-scale High-Performance Compute Center (HPCC) environment in Spartanburg, SC.
This role is responsible for the governance, coordination, and execution of all material movement, receiving, storage, and inventory control activities supporting mission-critical infrastructure operations. The Site Logistics & Support Manager serves as the primary authority for logistics execution across the facility, ensuring disciplined material handling, inventory accuracy, and reliable coordination between Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and third-party vendors.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience in industrial or mission-critical logistics environments and understands the operational importance of precise material flow, controlled inventory management, and vendor coordination in uptime-sensitive facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Site Logistics Operations
•Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, dock operations, receiving protocols, inspection procedures, and controlled material movement across the facility
•Ensure proper staging, storage, and delivery of materials required for operations, maintenance, and engineering activities
•Maintain strict chain-of-custody procedures for equipment and materials entering mission-critical areas
•Coordinate logistics activities that support operational uptime, maintenance planning, and capital improvement initiatives
Inventory & Material Governance
•Establish and maintain site logistics governance standards, material handling procedures, and inventory control frameworks
•Ensure accurate inventory tracking, reconciliation, and data integrity across internal systems
•Implement inventory accuracy controls, cycle counts, and material tracking procedures
•Maintain proper documentation for Bills of Lading, packing slips, purchase orders, and other logistics records
Cross-Functional Operational Support
•Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to prioritize material staging and support scheduled and emergent work activities
•Coordinate logistics support for major maintenance events, retrofits, commissioning activities, and capital projects
•Support operational readiness by ensuring critical spares and required materials are available when needed
•Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that could impact operational continuity
Vendor & Logistics Coordination
•Oversee vendor performance for freight carriers, delivery services, storage providers, and logistics contractors
•Ensure vendor adherence to service level agreements and site operational requirements
•Coordinate with Procurement and Corporate Logistics teams to ensure effective material sourcing and delivery timelines
Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
•Enforce site safety protocols, material handling best practices, and EH&S compliance standards
•Implement controlled access protocols for materials entering sensitive or mission-critical environments
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance logistics efficiency, inventory visibility, and warehouse space utilization
•Serve as the escalation point for logistics-related issues impacting site operations
Team Leadership
•Lead and develop Site Logistics Coordinators and material handling personnel
•Ensure consistent execution of logistics procedures and operational discipline across the team
•Foster a safety-first culture focused on accountability, accuracy, and operational reliability
REQUIREMENTS
•7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or material management in industrial or mission-critical environments
•3+ years of leadership experience managing logistics, warehouse, or material handling teams
•Experience overseeing dock operations, receiving protocols, inventory management systems, and controlled material flow
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in fast-paced operational environments
•Strong understanding of procurement processes, logistics documentation controls, and vendor performance management
•Experience implementing inventory governance frameworks and maintaining high inventory accuracy
•Strong organizational, communication, and escalation judgment skills
•Ability to operate effectively in a high-accountability, mission-critical environment
•Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
•Experience supporting data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, construction, utilities, manufacturing, or other high-reliability environments
•Familiarity with logistics support for large-scale infrastructure or technical facilities
•Experience working with enterprise inventory or warehouse management systems

Overview
The Electrical Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) –Mission-Critical serves as the owner’s on-site technical authority for electrical systems supporting a large-scale High-Performance Compute Center (HPCC) and associated on-site power generation infrastructure.
This role is part of a team of Electrical SMEs assigned to rotating shifts, providing continuous expert electrical oversight 24/7/365. Each SME works alongside contracted Critical Infrastructure Operators, Mechanical Systems SMEs, Hybrid Space (Liquid Cooling) SMEs, and Energy Station SMEs, delivering real-time technical guidance, operational oversight, and training.
Electrical SMEs are fully qualified to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all major electrical systems within scope and are expected to lead by example in safety, reliability, procedural discipline, and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Shift Electrical Authority Serve as the on-shift electrical authority for power distribution, UPS, generator, and switchgear operations within the HPCC.
Coordinate closely with contracted operator teams to ensure safe, reliable operation across data center, compute, and power-generation environments.
Provide technical leadership during switching, energization, restoration, and abnormal operating conditions.
Act as the on-shift authority for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), energized work permitting, and arc-flash PPE compliance.
Electrical Operations & Troubleshooting Monitor electrical system health, identify anomalies, and initiate or direct corrective actions.
Maintain detailed knowledge of site single-line diagrams, system interdependencies, and protection schemes.
Troubleshoot electrical faults, alarms, and system abnormalities in coordination with Controls, Mechanical, and cross-functional teams.
Participate in root-cause analyses following electrical events or system disruptions.
Commissioning, Procedures & Documentation Support commissioning, acceptance testing, and equipment start-up activities.
Participate in the development, review, and refinement of operating procedures, switching plans, and LOTO documentation.
Ensure accurate shift logs, equipment status updates, and event documentation are maintained.
Identify procedural gaps or improvement opportunities and escalate recommendations to Electrical Operations leadership.
Contribute to lessons-learned documentation following system events or deviations.
Training, Mentorship & Safety Culture Mentor and train contracted operators and maintenance personnel in electrical safety, system operation, and procedural execution.
Support qualification programs, skills assessments, and ongoing competency validation for electrical operators.
Enforce adherence to electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and owner-specific EHS requirements.
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and procedural discipline across all shifts.
Cross-Functional Coordination Act as the primary electrical liaison between Critical Infrastructure, Compute Infrastructure, and Energy Station teams.
Ensure clear communication of electrical system status during shift handovers and operational transitions.
Support integrated operations across electrical, mechanical, controls, and power-generation systems.
Success Measures Zero electrical safety incidents or procedural violations.
Consistent, stable electrical system performance supporting HPCC uptime requirements.
High-quality operational execution during switching, maintenance, and incident response.
Strong operator competency demonstrated through training outcomes and operational performance.
Recognition as a trusted on-shift electrical authority within HPCC Operations.
Requirements Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field;or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience working with medium- and low-voltage electrical systems in data centers, industrial facilities, or power-generation environments.
Demonstrated expertise with switchgear, UPS systems, generators, protective relays, and power distribution systems.
Proven ability to mentor and train operators or technicians in safe electrical practices and operational procedures.
Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and industry best practices for mission-critical electrical environments.
Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and control logic.
Strong communication skills and situational awareness in high-pressure, live operational environments.
Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 mission-critical operations setting.
