About the Role
<p>We are looking for a <strong>Customer Support Representative (German-speaking)</strong> to join our BUX team based in<strong> Amsterdam</strong>.</p><p>We're seeking individuals who can adapt to flexible working hours and are committed to assisting our growing customer base. In this role, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for our German-speaking clients while also offering support in English to users across Europe.</p><p>We value candidates who approach their work with dedication, responsibility, and the ability to work autonomously, yet thrive as part of a team. As we operate in a dynamic scale-up environment, we need someone who embraces change and approaches challenges with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.</p><p>We’re teaming up with ABN AMRO to add savings to the BUX platform. You’ll play a key role in launching this new proposition and supporting our customers across all our financial products.</p><h4>What you will do</h4><p>As part of our first-line support team, you’ll help ensure our users have a smooth and positive experience with BUX. Your day-to-day will include:</p><ul><li><p>Supporting customers using BUX Investing and, soon, BUX Savings</p></li><li><p>Responding to chats, emails, and phone calls with speed, clarity, and care</p></li><li><p>Guiding new users through onboarding and helping them get started confidently</p></li><li><p>Staying up to date with product updates and internal developments</p></li><li><p>Gathering customer feedback and sharing insights with the wider team</p></li><li><p>Collaborating across teams to resolve issues efficiently</p></li><li><p>Assisting with translations and customer-facing content</p></li><li><p>Identifying opportunities to improve processes and helping implement changes</p></li><li><p>Maintaining and contributing to the team’s knowledge base</p></li></ul><h4 class="text-justify"><strong>What you need to succeed</strong></h4><ul><li><p class="text-justify">Fluent in <strong>German and English</strong> (additional European languages are a plus)</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a customer-facing/support role</p></li><li><p>Interest in financial markets and investing</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills to connect with our users</p></li><li><p>Quick learner and adept problem solver</p></li><li><p>Able to work independently but also willing to jump in and help your team as needed</p></li><li><p>You are <strong>based in the Netherlands</strong> and available for a full-time role of <strong>40 hours per week</strong></p></li></ul><h4><strong>How we hire</strong></h4><p>To learn more about our approach to hiring and how to prepare for your interviews, check out our <a target="_blank" href="https://careers.getbux.com/pages/how-we-hire"><strong>How we hire</strong></a> section.</p><p><strong>Adjustments for the hiring process</strong></p><p>We want you to feel empowered to show your best self during the application process.
