About the Role

For a forward-thinking technology company in the Crailsheim area, we are immediately seeking an experienced HIL Test Automation System Tester (m/f/d). In this challenging role, you will significantly advance the quality assurance of smart systems through automated hardware-in-the-loop testing. Your responsibilities will include the specification and detailed planning of demanding system tests in the future-oriented automotive sector, precisely deriving test cases from complex system requirements. You will develop and automate customized test scripts and continuously maintain test cases to sustainably increase the efficiency of all testing processes. You will also be responsible for conducting and controlling automated system tests on modern hardware-in-the-loop test benches, making extensive use of dSPACE ConfigDesk and ControlDesk. Error analysis and validation of CAN communication and ECU behavior using Matlab, Simulink, and Vector CANalyzer to ensure the highest quality standards. Support and configuration of innovative HIL test benches, including active assistance with commissioning and the integration of the latest software versions. Process optimization and further development of future-proof test automation strategies for the continuous improvement of cross-departmental test procedures.
  • Professional qualification in the field of electrical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronics, or comparable in-depth technical expertise in the automotive sector.
  • Practical know-how in the safeguarding and structured testing of electronic control units as well as in the safe handling of automotive bus systems such as CAN.
  • Application of modern hardware-in-the-loop testing systems, ideally with routine use of dSPACE SCALEXIO systems and the associated tools.
  • Mastery of the precise creation and automation of test cases through intensive use of programs such as Matlab, Simulink and Vector CANalyzer.
  • Expertise in the field of modern powertrains, preferably complemented by a strong interest in or initial insights into the diverse commercial vehicle environment.
  • Language skills in German and English at a good level, both spoken and written, for smooth international cooperation, coupled with a willingness to be actively present on site.
