Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) consist of two vertical tray columns and a central extractor that automatically retrieves and delivers trays to an ergonomic access window. Unlike carousels, VLMs dynamically assign storage locations based on item height, maximizing vertical space and reducing wasted air.
VLMs are ideal for variable-height inventory, spare parts, tools, and sensitive materials. They’re used across aerospace, electronics, MRO, medical, and manufacturing operations where space efficiency and precise access are critical.
