We are seeking a Pump Station Mechanic for assignment in The Villages, Florida. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the preventive and corrective maintenance of a water/wastewater treatment plant, pump stations and related equipment on an assigned shift.


Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm


** This position has a pay rate of $24/hr **


Responsibilities
- Install, overhaul, repair, service and maintain equipment such as (but not limited to) pumps, motors, gas and diesel engines, meters, gauges, compressors, blowers, valves and backchecks
- Revamps pump stations
- Maintains 240/480 electrical system control panels
- Maintains well motors and A/C-D/C control systems
- Maintains service records
- Perform and participate in confined space entries
- Submits requisitions for equipment and materials
- Reviews work orders for priority, clarity and completeness
- Completes work orders within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to appropriate personnel
- Performs other related duties as required


Qualifications
- A valid Drivers License
- Knowledge in the installation, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of electrical motors, pumps and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of 240/480 A/C-D/C control systems
- Ability to interpret and utilize SCADA system
- Ability to make inspections
