LTC Pharmacist Compensation
- The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
LTC Pharmacist Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with alternating weekends
LTC Pharmacist Responsibilities
- Accept and dispense prescription medications
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and appropriateness
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Provide clinical services and patient education on medical devices
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as required
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Maintain proper inventory of medications and supplies
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues
LTC Pharmacist Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania LTC Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience working in a pharmacy setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication safety
- Ability to supervise staff and work in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
LTC Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications
- Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience
- Experience with AS400 operating system
- Sterile compounding experience
