Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Registered Nurse House Supervisor for a travel assignment in Fort Madison, Iowa. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing hospital-wide operations during night shifts, supporting clinical staff, patient flow, and care delivery across the facility.
This assignment is ideal for experienced RNs with strong acute care backgrounds and prior charge or supervisory experience who are comfortable serving as the central clinical resource during their shift.

- Schedule:
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:00 AM
- Rotating Hours:
- 24 hours one week
- 36 hours the following week
- Total: 60 hours per two-week period
- EMR: Cerner

Key Responsibilities
- Provide house-wide clinical leadership and operational oversight
- Coordinate staffing, patient flow, and bed management
- Serve as the escalation point for patient care issues and staff concerns
- Respond to emergency situations and support clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with department leaders and providers across the hospital
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Mentor staff and support problem-solving in real time
What We’re Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 4 years of acute care nursing experience
Preferred:
- Prior charge nurse or house supervisor experience
- BSN preferred, MSN a plus
