You'll have experience making a high-volume of outbound calls to prospect clients. </p><p>You are an organised and persuasive individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment for a rapidly growing tech business. </p><p></p><p><strong>About the role<br></strong>You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, proactively reaching out to classic and performance car owners, collectors and dealers to introduce them to our market-leading auction platform.</p><p>You’ll be responsible for identifying high-potential sellers, qualifying leads and securing vehicle consignments to fuel our live auction listings. We’re lucky to have thousands of user-generated listings submitted monthly with content gems from James Bond’s Aston DB5 to Elvis Presley’s Cadillac. The site is old, launched in 2005 but under new, VC-backed ownership since 2018 and on an exciting triple-digit growth journey to bring classic vehicle transactions online.</p><p>Our culture is incredibly important to us. Despite being an entirely distributed business we build strong connections as colleagues and have created a fun and high-performing culture.</p><p>We’re looking for SDRs who have good, relevant experience and wants to make their mark in a rapid-growth business where they can make a real difference, whilst enjoying the environment and culture.</p><p></p><p><strong>Role and responsibilities</strong><br><em>Outbound Prospecting</em></p><ul><li><p>☎️ Make 50+ connected outbound calls per day to classic and performance car owners, collectors, and dealers.</p></li><li><p>✉️ Conduct personalised outreach via phone and email to generate interest in consigning vehicles.</p></li><li><p>🤝 Build trust with sellers by understanding their vehicle history and motivations.</p></li><li><p>🚗 Secure a minimum of 3 vehicle consignments per day by qualifying leads and presenting auction value propositions.</p></li></ul><p><em>Lead Qualification</em></p><ul><li><p>🧠 Qualify inbound sales and valuation leads to determine vehicle eligibility and seller readiness.</p></li><li><p>📈 Identify high-potential prospects, provide vehicle valuations and convert to auction sales or enrol in email sequences.</p></li></ul><p><em>CRM Management</em></p><ul><li><p>📝 Accurately log all prospect interactions, updates, and vehicle details in the CRM system.</p></li><li><p>🧹 Maintain clean, organised pipelines and follow-up schedules.</p></li></ul><p><em>Market Research & Targeting</em></p><ul><li><p>🔎 Identify and research new prospect segments.</p></li><li><p>🚘 Stay informed about classic and performance car trends, values, and collector interests.</p></li></ul><p><em>Collaboration & Reporting</em></p><ul><li><p>🧩 Work closely with the marketing and consignment teams to align on lead generation strategies and campaign follow-ups.</p></li><li><p>📊 Report on daily activity, call volume, consignment progress, and lead conversion metrics.</p></li></ul><p><em>Customer Education & Support</em></p><ul><li><p>📚 Educate prospects on the auction process, benefits of consigning with the company, and current auction timelines.</p></li><li><p>🌟 Provide a white-glove experience tailored to the high-value nature of the classic and performance car community.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The skills, attributes and experience you must have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>📞<strong> Proven Track Record in Outbound Sales:</strong> Proficiency in conducting outbound calls, from cold outreach to warm lead follow-ups, with a focus on relationship building and sales conversion.</p></li><li><p>🎯<strong> Target-Driven Mindset: </strong>Thrives in a target-driven environment, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and performance metrics.</p></li><li><p>🚗 <strong>Passion for Classic and Performance Cars:</strong> Genuine interest in classic and performance cars, with a good knowledge of the market.</p></li><li><p>💻 <strong>Tech-Savvy: </strong>Confident navigating multiple digital platforms simultaneously, working in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment.</p></li><li><p>🌱 <strong>Ability to Generate Contacts: </strong>Skilled in generating contacts from scratch, whether through networking, prospecting, or other means, to expand the client base and drive sales opportunities.</p></li><li><p>🤝 <strong>Strong Customer Service Skills: </strong>Exceptional ability to build rapport and provide top-notch service to clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.</p></li><li><p>🗣️<strong> Excellent Communication Skills:</strong> Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to both clients and colleagues.</p></li><li><p>⚡ <strong>Action-Oriented Approach: </strong>Hands-on, proactive attitude with a focus on getting things done efficiently and effectively, even in the face of challenges or obstacles.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>This position probably isn't for you if:</strong></p><ul><li><p>📞 You’re uncomfortable spending most of your day on high-volume outbound calls.</p></li><li><p>🎯 You’re not motivated by targets, daily activity metrics, and clear performance expectations.</p></li><li><p>🧩 You prefer inbound-only sales or long, slow deal cycles.</p></li><li><p>🚗 You have little interest in classic or performance cars or the enthusiast market.</p></li><li><p>⚡ You struggle in fast-paced environments where priorities move quickly.</p></li><li><p>🛑 You need heavy supervision rather than taking ownership of your pipeline and results.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What do you get (remuneration & benefits)?</strong></p><ul><li><p>💰 £25,000 base salary + uncapped commission (OTE £35,000)</p></li><li><p>📈 Stock options</p></li><li><p>💻 All the equipment you need to get the job done</p></li><li><p>🌍 Flexible working -
