Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join their growing team based in Plymouth, Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring developer to gain hands-on experience working on both desktop and mobile applications within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The Role
You will be part of a collaborative development team delivering software solutions across multiple platforms, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Working with technologies such as C++, C#, and Xojo, you will contribute to a wide range of technical projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing code to solve a variety of technical challenges
• Rendering and manipulating vector graphics (including OpenGL backends)
• Contributing to the development of UI frameworks
• Developing client-side functionality for cloud-based systems
• Supporting build automation processes
• Creating internal tools to improve operational efficiency

Team & Working Environment
You will join a structured development team and report to a team leader. Work is organised into manageable tasks using a ticketing system, with regular sprint meetings and daily stand-ups to support collaboration and progress. The environment is supportive, with guidance readily available from both team leaders and colleagues.
