About the Role
About the role: Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision in the Bradford area on a long-term basis. This full-time position is due to start in September , with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides a supportive and structured environment for pupils with SEMH needs , helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH needs • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement • Implementing effective behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies to support pupil development • Working collaboratively with support staff, pastoral teams, parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for learners Pre-requisites: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification • Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or within an alternative provision setting • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils • A good understanding of trauma-informed practice and strategies to support emotional wellbeing • Two recent education or school-based references If you are interested in this role, please apply via the form below.
