About the Role

Are you a Signalling Technician with BS1 & BS2 or SCM 1 & SCM 2 competencies? Have you had extensive experience of signalling maintenance under Network Rail standards? Location: North West England Salary: £40,000+ (DOE) Enhancements: Midweek nights enhanced rate/Weekend nights regular requirement Start Date: ASAP Benefits: Van + Fuel Card provided A signalling contractor is currently recruiting for experienced Signalling Technicians to join it's team delivering works across the North West of England as part of an established CP7 framework. This is a role for competent, well-trained technicians with solid hands-on signalling maintenance experience. We are looking for individuals who can operate confidently in live rail environments and deliver high-quality maintenance and installation works in line with Network Rail standards. The successful candidates will support signalling maintenance and project works, working both midweek and weekends as required by the programme. Midweek night shifts attract enhancement, with weekend work predominantly delivered on night shifts. Key Responsibilities: Carry out signalling maintenance, faulting, and installation works across the NW&C route. Work safely within live operational railway environments in accordance with Network Rail standards. Support planned and reactive maintenance activities on a rotational basis. Assist with points maintenance, renewals, and associated signalling equipment works. Ensure all works are delivered to the required safety and quality standards. Accurately complete work records and comply with Sentinel and competence requirements. Essential: Fully trained Network Rail Signalling Technician. Valid IRSE licence (or working towards). Minimum competencies: BS1 & BS2 or SCM 1 & SCM 2. Solid understanding of basic signalling principles and maintenance practices. Valid Sentinel card with relevant competencies. Full UK driving licence.
