Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring and well-planned Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (and KS5 if applicable)

• Foster students' understanding of geographical concepts, sustainability, and global citizenship

• Support students in developing their analytical, research, and fieldwork skills

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

• Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and geography-related enrichment opportunities

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement within the classroom

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in Geography or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography

• Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning
