Azure Engineer

We are looking for an Azure Engineer who can help our client with phase 2 & 3 of the configuration of a new Azure environment with specific focus on Landing Zones, Network Connectivity and VPN gateways. You will have a proven tack record with Azure implementations, and confifuration of Azure Infrastructure. 

You will be an expert in advsiing how Azure is configured and can create an environment that will interact and complement a companies wider working processes and technology.

• Azure Infrastructure: Proficiency in Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and Virtual Networks.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expert level Terraform or Bicep to manage and deploy resources.
• Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI for automating tasks.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of containerization (Docker, AKS) and building pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Security & Compliance: Implementing security controls using Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilizing Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and Grafana to optimize performance.
• Networking: Knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, subnets, and VPNs. 

Day Rate: £500 - 600 a day Inside IR35

Duration : 3 month contract
