Audit Manager / CPA Location: Upstate, NY Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office A well-established public accounting firm is looking to add an experienced Audit Manager / CPA to its team. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and providing strategic accounting guidance. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and perform financial statement audits for a diverse client base. Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Oversee client accounting engagements, including financial reporting and general ledger review. Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing accounting and compliance guidance. Assist clients with accounting processes, internal controls, and financial best practices. Manage multiple engagements while ensuring quality work and timely completion. Qualifications CPA license required. Minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience with a strong audit background. Experience managing audit engagements and working directly with clients. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
