Key Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (GCSE and A-Level or equivalent vocational qualifications)

• Deliver engaging, real-world focused lessons that develop commercial awareness, economic understanding, and analytical thinking

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment within the Business and Economics faculty

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and meaningful feedback

• Inspire and challenge students to achieve their potential and develop confidence in the subject

• Participate in school events, open evenings, and extra-curricular activities such as enterprise clubs or competitions

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for all learners

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business education

• Proven ability to teach Business at KS4 and ideally KS5

• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills

• A team player with a commitment to continuous improvement

• Enthusiasm for preparing students for life beyond the classroom
