Combined with Lumenis’ six decades of market leadership, 330+ patents, 500+ clinical publications, Pollogen and Lumenis offer the perfect balance of scientific artistry and creative excellence.About the RoleWe are looking for a clinically minded professional with experience or interest in aesthetic treatments and beauty technologies to help evaluate, demonstrate, and communicate the performance of our innovative aesthetic devices.This role combines hands-on product efficacy and usability evaluations and testing, oversight of external clinical evaluations, and translation of results into compelling, evidence-backed product claims.While formal clinical efficacy evaluations are conducted by third-party partners, the Clinical Applications Specialist will also lead in-house product performance validations using tools such as VISIA skin imaging systems and other skin analysis technologies to guide the development process of our next generation aesthetic devices. The goal is to ensure our devices demonstrate consistent, measurable results throughout development and to generate supporting data for product sales materials.Key Responsibilities1. In-House Product Testing & Efficacy Validation (Hands-On)Plan and execute in-house clinical efficacy validations using skin analysis tools (e.g., VISIA or similar imaging/measurement systems)Design practical product validation approaches, ensuring repeatability, accuracy, and meaningful endpointsDocument and track testing results and participant dataAnalyze results and produce clear reports, visuals, and key insights for internal decision-makingWork with R&D and Product teams to maintain clinical efficacy across development and provide feedback for improvement2. Oversight of External Clinical & Consumer Studies (Vendor-Managed)Define evaluation requirements and intended claims, then work with external labs, dermatologists, or research partners to design the testing planReview and approve third-party proposals, ensuring the scope and methods support real-world product use and claim needsFollow up during study execution via check-ins, milestone reviews, and data snapshotsReview and assess final results to ensure data quality and relevance3. Evidence Generation & Claims SupportTranslate internal and external tests results into clear, accessible messages for sales teams, distributors, and customersWork with Product and Marketing to create evidence-backed claims, infographics, visuals, and storytellingEnsure consistency between clinical findings and commercial messaging4. Training & Clinical CommunicationDeliver product demonstrations and training sessions to internal teams, distributors, and aesthetic professionalsDevelop training materials that use validation data in a clear, credible way5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Practitioner FeedbackServe as a point of contact for partners, KOLs, and testing partnersGather user feedback and incorporate insights into evaluation plans or product improvementsWork closely with R&D and Product teams to ensure alignment between testing, development, and launch needs6. Scientific AwarenessConduct focused literature reviews to support product rationale and claimsStay informed about aesthetic device trends, skincare science, and relevant testing methodologies
