Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to lead large-scale data transformation initiatives. This role will focus on driving end-to-end project execution, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of data-focused programs within scope, timeline, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex data transformation projects from initiation through delivery
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics, IT, and business units
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and risk logs
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks
- Drive data migration, data integration, and system transformation initiatives
- Ensure alignment with business objectives and data governance standards
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, executive updates, and project reviews
- Oversee vendor coordination and third-party integrations when applicable
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management experience, with a focus on data transformation or data-driven initiatives
- Proven experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects
- Strong understanding of data migration, data warehousing, ETL processes, and/or cloud data platforms
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
- Experience in enterprise data transformation, ERP, or system modernization initiatives
