CNC Machinist - Variety of Shifts!

Compensation for these opportunities is $19.71-$36.92 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Variety of shifts available with a 15% differential for 2nd shift and 20% differential for weekend shifts! Interested? Read below for more information! What you’ll do as the CNC Machinist:Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on the material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media Start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media Verify the conformity of the finished workpiece to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers.
