Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Quarry Manager to lead operations at a 1+ million ton per year Limestone Quarry located in Missouri. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quarry and plant operations, including production, safety, maintenance, and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily quarry and crushing plant operations to meet production goals.
- Supervise and develop plant and equipment operators, laborers, and maintenance personnel.
- Ensure strict compliance with MSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental standards.
- Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of all fixed and mobile equipment.
- Monitor quality control processes and collaborate with technical teams to maintain product specifications.
- Control costs, track production data, and support long-term mine planning.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quarry operations, with prior roles as a Plant Foreman, Superintendent, or similar.
- Strong understanding of aggregate production processes, equipment, and safety practices.
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with limestone processing and high-volume quarry operations preferred.
