Quest Employment Corby is recruiting on behalf of a growing, family-run manufacturer specialist in high-quality luxury tweed garments. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to join a skilled and supportive production team focused on craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce and finish luxury garments to a high standard. The role involves working accurately from patterns and specifications, meeting production targets, and ensuring all products meet company quality expectations.
Sew luxury garments using industrial sewing machines.
Maintain high-quality finishing standards.
Work to production targets and deadlines.
Follow patterns and specifications accurately.
Support the team where required.
Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications.
Inspect materials and finished goods for quality and consistency.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions; perform minor repairs or adjustments as necessary.
Adhere to company policies promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Previous industrial sewing machinist experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Reliable and quality-focused.
Experience with heavy fabrics/tweed (beneficial).

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training in sewing or textiles is a plus.
Start the shift by inspecting machines for readiness and safety checks.
Receive and review production orders and patterns for the day’s tasks.
Set up machines and materials, adjusting settings to meet product requirements.
Continuously sew and assemble products, adhering to quality standards.
Communicate with supervisors and teammates regarding workflow progress and any issues.
Participate in team meetings focused on improving processes and promoting a respectful workplace culture.
Temp to perm opportunity.
4-day working week (Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:00pm).
