<h2>Field Service Engineer. Weighing Systems</h2>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> 50 Miles of Radius Reading<br /><strong>Base Salary:</strong> £34,000 basic<br /><strong>OTE:</strong> Circa £50,000 = Base Salary + Overtime + Bonus<br /><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time. Permanent<br /><strong>Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week<br /><strong>Pay:</strong> Door-to-door. Overtime at time and one third. Double time weekends<br /><strong>Bonus:</strong> Company bonus crica £2k-£3k</p>
<h3>The Role</h3>
<p>An established engineering business is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to support its growing service operation. This is a field-based role servicing, calibrating, installing, and fault-finding weighing systems at customer sites.</p>
<p>The role is mainly regional with occasional UK-wide and limited overseas travel.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Service, repair, and calibrate <strong>weighing systems</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Install and commission new equipment</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Diagnose faults and attend breakdowns</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Complete service reports and documentation</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Provide professional customer support on site</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Field-based engineering experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>MUST HAVE: Weighing systems or load cell experience</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Mechanical and electrical installation skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong customer-facing and communication skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to manage your own workload</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Full UK driving licence</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Desirable</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Commissioning and calibration of platform, vessel, or structural weigh systems</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Basic instrumentation or software configuration experience</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>Full training available where required.</p>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Engineering qualification with GCSEs or equivalent</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>HNC or higher preferred</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Competent with Microsoft Office</p>
</li>
</ul>
