About the Role
HR Coordinator <br><strong>Location:</strong> Kitts Green, Birmingham (Office-based with hybrid working available after successful probation – 1–2 days per week)<br><strong>Hours:</strong> 37.5 hours per week (30 hours over 4–5 days will also be considered)<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £34,000 – £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)<br><br>The RoleWe are looking for a proactive and organised <strong>Recruitment & Training Coordinator</strong> to take ownership of recruitment activity across the business while supporting the ongoing development of training programmes and learning platforms.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong HR or in-house recruitment background who enjoys working closely with operational teams and managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously. Experience recruiting engineering professionals would be a significant advantage, although not essential.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple business functions.<br><br></li><ul><li>Partner with operational managers to understand workforce planning and recruitment requirements.<br><br></li><li>Source, attract and engage high-quality candidates using a variety of recruitment methods.<br><br></li><li>Coordinate interviews, provide candidate feedback and manage the onboarding process.<br><br></li><li>Build and maintain talent pipelines to support future hiring needs.<br><br></li><li>Recruit for engineering and technical positions, alongside a range of operational and support roles.<br><br></li><li>Support the administration and development of the company's training platforms and learning programmes.<br><br></li><li>Assist with employee development initiatives and training coordination.<br><br></li><li>Maintain accurate recruitment and training records in line with company procedures.<br><br></li><li>Provide general HR and recruitment support where required.<br><br></li></ul></ul>About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:<br><br><ul><li>Previous experience within an HR or internal recruitment environment.<br><br></li><ul><li>Experience managing recruitment across multiple departments or business areas.<br><br></li><li>Excellent organisational and communication skills.<br><br></li><li>The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br><br></li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build relationships with managers across the business.<br><br></li><li>A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.<br><br></li></ul></ul>Desirable Experience<ul><li>Previous experience recruiting engineering or technical professionals.<br><br></li><ul><li>Experience supporting learning and development or training programmes.<br><br></li><li>Knowledge of HR systems or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).<br><br></li></ul></ul>What's on Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary of <strong>£34,000–£36,000</strong>, depending on experience.<br><br></li><ul><li>37.5-hour working week.<br><br></li><li>Hybrid working available (1–2 days from home once established in the role).<br><br></li><li>Applications from candidates seeking <strong>30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days</strong> are welcome.<br><br></li><li>A varied and rewarding role with the opportunity to take ownership of recruitment while supporting employee development and training across the business.<br><br></li></ul></ul>
