<p>My client is seeking an <strong>experienced BREEAM Sustainability Consultant</strong> to join their Manchester team. This role is focused on delivering <strong>BREEAM assessments across a diverse portfolio of projects</strong>, including workplace, healthcare, education, residential, and mixed-use developments.</p>
<p>You will play a key role in leading <strong>BREEAM certification processes</strong>, supporting compliance with UK Building Regulations, and contributing to wider sustainability strategies within a well-established, multidisciplinary design practice.</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead and deliver <strong>BREEAM assessments</strong> from pre-assessment through to certification</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for <strong>BREEAM-related queries</strong> across project teams</li>
<li>Produce and review <strong>SBEM calculations</strong> and support compliance with <strong>Part L and Part O</strong> regulations</li>
<li>Undertake <strong>life cycle assessments using One Click LCA</strong></li>
<li>Provide clear, actionable sustainability advice to clients and design teams</li>
<li>Support delivery of <strong>net zero carbon strategies</strong> and environmental performance targets</li>
<li>Ensure projects align with relevant environmental standards and legislation</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience delivering <strong>BREEAM assessments</strong> (essential)</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>SBEM</strong> and <strong>UK Building Regulations (Part L & Part O)</strong></li>
<li>Experience using <strong>One Click LCA</strong> for lifecycle/embodied carbon analysis</li>
<li>Background in built environment sustainability consultancy</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Desirable</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience with additional certifications (e.g. LEED, WELL, NABERS)</li>
<li>Knowledge of ESG frameworks and net zero strategies</li>
</ul>
