Resource Base Teaching Assistant

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Rugby to recruit a Resource Base Teaching Assistant. This is a part-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The specialist provision supports pupils with Autism and communication needs through structured routines and personalised learning. Staff receive specialist training and work within an experienced inclusion team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils within the specialist resource base
• Deliver communication and social skills interventions
• Promote independence and emotional wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with specialist staff

Pre-requisites:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
