About the Role
Connections Reform is broken down into two key elements, each of which were covered by their own Change Modification Proposal. The main proposal, CMP434, was for the future enduring process (known as TMO4+) and will cover all future submittals to NESO for transmission consent.
The second proposal, CMP435, was developed to review and restructure the existing contracted pipeline and in effect would be a one-time process. This has become known as Gate 2 To Whole Queue or G2TWQ and is the primary area of focus as we move into implementation of Connections Reform.
Gate 2 To Whole Queue covers all Relevant Generation Schemes that have completed a Transmission Impact Assessment and have received a NESO (or previously a National Grid ESO) connection date but are not connected when the G2TWQ evidence window closes.
This means that you have completed an Appendix G update process or a Project Progression and are includes in an Appendix G summary for the relevant GSP, sitting in either Part 2, Part 3 or Part 4 of the document.
