IT Field Engineer

<p>We have partnered with an innovative client within the Healthcare and Med-Tech Space onboard a proactive IT Field Engineer, to support Software &amp; Hardware for their client base within the Bavaria / Bayern region.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong><br /> As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier service in PC (Windows), software, network, and hardware troubleshooting. The role involves extensive travel* to medical centres and hospital across Southern Germany (Bavaria). Midweek overnight stays will be likely, and some weekend work during busy periods. Periodic travel** to other DACH regions may also be required.</p> <p><small>*Full expense framework i.e. overtime payments, car benefit, travel/fuel and per diem /food allowance<br /> **This is a field position covering Bavaria and will require up to 75% travel</small></p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, support, and maintain their product range.</li> <li>Conduct site surveys and provide on-site/reactive support.</li> <li>Provide scheduled maintenance and upgrade assistance, available both remotely and on-site.</li> <li>Carry out installations in accordance with company procedures.</li> <li>Collaborate with customers and installers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical skills required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience as a technically qualified IT Field Engineering / IT service Engineer</li> <li>Strong hardware diagnostic skills, including PC hardware (replacing PC components)</li> <li>Proficiency in Windows 10/7, O365, TCP IP Networking, and troubleshooting tools</li> <li>Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team.</li> <li>Experience of installing Desktops / Desktop imaging</li> <li>Previous experience with installation, troubleshooting &amp; resolving hardware issues</li> <li>Experience of storage – RAID / NAS</li> <li>Understanding of routers &amp; switches</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Fluent in English &amp; German</li> <li>Nice to have previous experience with Medical Devices, Medical Imaging, Radiotherapy</li> </ul>
