About the Role
<p>We are an acute care medical center and a member of a neighboring large Health System looking for an Anatomic Pathology Operations Manager to join our growing team. As the Anatomic Pathology Operations Maqnager you will<br />
oversee the Pathology Office Manager, Pathology Supervisor, and Chief Cytotechnologist while being responsible for coordinating and reviewing all activities of the histology, cytology, and MOHS laboratories to achieve maximum quality of testing and compliance with all requirements by regulatory agencies. </p>

Location: White Plains, NY<br />
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am- 4pm with rotating WE and Hol<br />
Salary: $112,000 – $166,000 (Depending on Experience)</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Assures the delivery of quality department /clinical services in accordance with established hospital and regulatory/accreditation agency standards and Assures employee compliance with hospital and Human Resources policies and procedures<br />
Assures that employee competency and education requirements are satisfied as per hospital policy and as -required, participates in the Performance Improvement Program as defined by the organization.<br />
Attends Management/Leadership meetings as scheduled/required and communicates hospital policies, performance improvement initiatives and all other required information for staff.<br />
Is responsible for participation in committees, task forces and projects as appropriate, assures the provision of a safe employee/patient environment and maintains knowledge related to the operations of the department.<br />
Works collaboratively with all levels of the hospital interdisciplinary team and promotes the team concept within the department and hospital and Is supportive of hospital initiatives and projects and functions as a positive change agent.<br />
Directs and supervises tests performed by scientists, cytotechnologists, Pathology Supervisor, Chief Cytotechnologist(s), Histo-technicians, and Laboratory Assistants.<br />
Trains and assists laboratory supervisor staff and oversees and assists with the Quality Control Program and prepares monthly Quality Control reports for section meetings.</p>
<p>Requirements</p>
<p>BS Degree in Clinical Technology or related science with six years of relevant hospital experience.<br />
Current NYS License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist, or Pathologists’ Assistant required.<br />
Preferred with ASCP Certification</p>
