<p>An expanding, employee-owned engineering and environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a <strong>Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer</strong> to strengthen its Leeds-based team. This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering complex land quality and ground investigation projects across the UK while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the continued growth of the geoenvironmental division.</p>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>The Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer will be leading the planning and execution of ground investigation and land quality assessments</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Managing site works, including supervising drilling contractors and overseeing health and safety compliance</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Preparing and reviewing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Ground Investigation reports</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Producing interpretative reports, risk assessments and remediation strategies</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Designing and implementing groundwater and ground gas monitoring programmes</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Liaising with clients, regulators and project stakeholders throughout project delivery</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assisting with project management, cost control and programme coordination</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Candidate Requirements</h3>
<p>Applicants for this <strong>Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer</strong> position should demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Relevant industry experience</strong> within contaminated land or ground investigation consultancy</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong technical report writing and data interpretation skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A <strong>full UK driving licence</strong> and willingness to travel to project sites when required</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Eligibility to work in the UK without restriction</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ideally based in or able to commute to the <strong>Leeds</strong> area</p>
</li>
</ul>
