SEND Primary Teacher - Rochdale

About the role:

Justteachers are seeking a committed and nurturing Teacher to join a cutting‑edge SEND school based in Rochdale.

 

This innovative provision offers tailored support to pupils aged 4–11 with a wide variety of special educational needs.

 

You’ll play an important part in keeping parents and carers informed, providing clear, regular updates on each child’s development and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality teaching and support for pupils with diverse SEND needs.

 

Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with individual learning plans.

 

Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team to ensure holistic support.

 

Track pupil progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and maintain accurate documentation.

 

Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels respected and valued.

Pre-requisites:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

 

Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting (essential).

 

Background in supporting students with SEND, including Autism, SEMH, and other additional needs.

 

Ability to stay composed and patient when faced with challenging situations.

 

Strong commitment to supporting children’s learning and overall development.
