Castle Employment Group are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing manufacturing business in Hull to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys working closely with production and leadership teams to drive performance.

The Role:
As Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll act as a key business partner across operations, supporting strategic decisions with robust financial insight. You’ll play a crucial role in analysing manufacturing performance, improving margins, and driving efficiencies across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with operations and production teams to provide financial insight and challenge
• Analyse manufacturing performance, including cost of production, labour, and overheads
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Support pricing, margin improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
• Deliver clear and actionable reporting to senior leadership
• Identify opportunities for process improvement across finance and operations

About You:

• Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
• Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong understanding of costings, stock, and operational finance
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
