Lead AI Game Engineer Location: London Hybrid / Remote - open to b2b contract outside of UK We’re looking for a Lead AI Game Engineer to lead the development of next-generation HTML5 slot games. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll build core systems, define technical direction, and integrate AI-assisted workflows into the development process. You’ll work closely with designers and product teams to bring game ideas to life, while mentoring a small team of experienced engineers. A key focus will be on rapid prototyping, scalable architecture, and delivering high-quality production-ready games at pace. What we’re looking for: Proven experience developing slot games (real-money or social casino) Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills Experience with HTML5 game development Familiarity with rendering frameworks (PIXI.js, Phaser, or similar) Experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day development Strong system design and architectural thinking Nice to have: Knowledge of slot mechanics (reels, paylines, bonus systems, RNG) Experience with RTP, volatility, or math models Background building reusable frameworks or game engines
