As a Junior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry dedicated to facilitating responsible lending and safeguarding financial ecosystems. In this role, you will contribute to assessing and managing credit risk, ensuring clients’ applications are thoroughly evaluated, and supporting the development of resilient financial portfolios. Your main responsibilities: Verify client credit applications (small and medium enterprises) in accordance with company policies Analyze documentation and credit requests (e.g., financial statements, reports, credit bureau data, bank references, online information) Calculate exposure to risk for each client Collaborate with clients, banks, and internal partners to verify and monitor transactions Work proactively with internal teams to prevent credit fraud and abuse Monitor and verify client transactions in cooperation with banks and financial institutions Analyze portfolio quality and implement corrective strategies to improve performance You're ideal for this role if you have: At least 1 year of experience in credit or loan-related roles within financial institutions Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with proficiency in analytical tools Good command of English (Fluent) Solid academic background in economics or related field (bachelor’s degree or higher) Ability to work effectively in a team with a proactive mindset Attention to detail and goal-oriented approach Negotiation and communication skills It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) Experience with risk assessment tools or financial modeling Additional certifications in finance or risk management Language Required for the role: Fluent English Eligibility for the role: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. #MAKEYourCareerBETTER Interested?
