Job Description: Data & Business Analyst Location: Fairmont MN Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Entry Level; 1-2 years Monday- Friday 8am-5pm Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes across various business units. Your expertise will drive data-driven solutions, optimize operational workflows, and enhance overall business performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis, business analysis, and project management, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Preparation- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, spreadsheets, and ERP/EDP systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. Reporting & Visualization- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel to effectively communicate insights to business stakeholders. ERP/EDP Support- Provide support to end users and management within Epicor/M3 systems, including assisting with data queries and business intelligence reporting layered on the Enterprise Data Platform.Partner with teams such as Operations, Finance, and EDI to understand data needs, deliver insights, and propose alternative solutions that add business value.Maintain clear and organized documentation for data definitions, metrics, and analytical processes to ensure transparency and consistency. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Operations, Finance, & EDI to understand the business data needs. Documentation- Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, metric formulas, and analytical processes. Required Qualifications Education- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Data Visualization Skills- Experience with Power BI and/or advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data visualization, formulas).Strong problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Ability to clearly present and explain complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical Thinking- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional math aptitude.
