<p><strong>Role:</strong> Customer Order Expeditor</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate</p><p><strong>Working Hours: </strong>Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week <span>(Office Based)</span></p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Customer Care team member to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. We’re a profitable, privately owned, and fast-moving company looking for talented individuals to join our team and deliver our strategic objectives.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li><p>Ensuring customers have an up-to-date status for their order regularly</p></li><li><p>Responding to customer e-mails / phone calls in a timely manner of 24 hours or less</p></li><li><p>Reviewing order status and ensuring timely picks to meet on time delivery</p></li><li><p>Coordinating with different departments (Sales / Engineering / Planning / Purchasing / Documentation / Logistics) to ensure the products and associated documentation for each customer order will ship as per the promise date.</p></li><li><p>Liaising with Customer Inspectors</p></li><li><p>Facilitating schedule of orders and resolving issues</p></li><li><p>Providing updates to third party inspectors on open Inspection</p></li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p><ul><li><p>Customer-focussed</p></li><li><p>Have a pro-active approach to your work and be able to use your own initiative, driving orders through the system.</p></li><li><p>Clear and professional communication skills</p></li><li><p>Will need to be passionate about your role and provide excellent customer service and on-time delivery.</p></li><li><p>Experience in a manufacturing/production environment would be an advantage, although not essential.</p></li><li><p>Be able to stay calm when dealing with customer complaints in challenging situations</p></li><li><p>Be proficient with MRP systems and Excel/Word and evidence strong analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Have the ability to multitask and manage your own time.</p></li><li><p>Have the ability to question the reasons why deliveries cannot be achieved and think of alternative courses of action to achieve goals.</p></li><li><p>Reliability and a detail-oriented approach.</p></li><li><p>Be a pro-active team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.</p></li><li><p>Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What’s On Offer?</strong></p><ul><li><p>A competitive salary between £28-£30k depending on experiance </p></li><li><p>Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, offering free and confidential support.</p></li><li><p>A company pension scheme to help you plan for the future.</p></li><li><p>Medical cash plan benefits, covering essential healthcare costs such as dental treatment, check-ups, optical care, physiotherapy, and more.</p></li><li><p>Training opportunities to support your career development.</p></li><li><p>Long service awards, recognising your continued commitment.</p></li><li><p>Increased annual leave based on length of service.</p></li></ul><p><span></span>Hours of work are 40 hours over Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5pm.</p>
