<p>An established MEP consulting firm is in search of a qualified <strong>Mechanical and/or Electrical Contract Administrator</strong> to become a part of their team. This is a full-time position for an individual with <strong>5+ years of experience</strong> in the building industry—specifically in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems. Ideal candidates may have a background in service, construction, or facility upkeep.</p>

<h3> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Conduct on-site field assessments of <strong>mechanical, plumbing, and electrical installations</strong> to verify conformance to specifications, regulations, and codes</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Create thorough and precise observation reports</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assess <strong>contractor submissions and blueprints</strong> for technical accuracy</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work closely with <strong>project leaders and engineers</strong> to address construction and field concerns</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Engage with contractors to ensure quality control and construction precision</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Please note: This role requires being present at active construction sites and the ability to move, climb, bend, or crawl as necessary.</em></p>

<h3>✅ <strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></h3>

<p>At least 5 years of hands-on involvement in the <strong>MEP building trades</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities</p>
</li>

<p>Great attention to detail and organizational aptitude</p>
</li>

<p>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office</strong> (Outlook, Excel); familiarity with <strong>AutoCAD or Revit</strong> is advantageous</p>

<p>Positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills</p>
</li>

<p>Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, dependable vehicle, and current auto insurance</p>
