We want to ensure that no matter your background, everyone in our community has the opportunity to succeed. Use our application guidance and resources to support you with your application and answer any of your questions. If you still have a question, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. Application process 1 Online application This step involves you telling us about you, why you’d like to join us and why you’re applying for your chosen programme. Here, we’re looking for you to demonstrate your key motives to join us. You’ll be pleased to know; we don’t require a CV or cover letter to complete your application. Our system may ask you for this, and if it does just upload a blank document. 2 Online assessment You’ll be invited to complete our online assessments. Here you’ll complete a situational judgement test, where you’ll be presented with different workplace scenarios and be asked choose the action you’d will take. For all Level 3 apprenticeships and above, you’ll also be required to complete a numerical reasoning test. 3 Assessment centre You’ll be invited to a face-to-face assessment centre, where you’ll take part in a strengths-based interview and a task. During the interview, we recommend using the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers. This approach helps you clearly explain your experiences and demonstrate your strengths in a concise and impactful way. We’ll let you know how long the assessment will take and make sure it’s as close as possible to your chosen location. 4 Offer and feedback If you’re successful, we'll make you a verbal offer and follow this up in writing. Irrespective of the stage you reach, you’ll receive feedback on your areas of strength and any areas for development. Within your first few weeks, you’ll complete an induction week where you’ll meet other members of your cohort and be welcomed by your new team.  Our top 5 application tips We asked our apprentices, graduates and year in industry colleagues what their top tips are when it comes to landing an role with us, and they said: Research, research, research Make sure you research the company and understand the role you’re applying for. Be yourself and enthusiastic Show off your true personality and passion for the role you have applied for. Take your time Make sure you take time to read though your application and make sure it is showing you in your best light. Be sure the role is right for you Take time to understand our different programmes. You can do this by joining one of our events. Keep up to date Have a peek at our latest news and what’s going on across the industry. Reasonable adjustments We’re committed in giving everyone the best possible chance to succeed, and that’s why if you need extra support during any stage of the application process, we’d love to help you. During the online application stage, you’ll be able to let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments. If you select that you require reasonable adjustments, you will receive a phone call from a member of our team to understand how we can best support you. We’re happy for you to reach out to us at any time, to let us know about how we can best support you by emailing us. Advice and frequently asked questions Advice and frequently asked questions for our Apprentice, Graduate, and Year in Industry schemes. Apprentices Understanding the apprenticeship options available after finishing school or college can be confusing. The National Apprenticeship Service found that whilst 87% of parents give their child careers advice, up to 90% of those don’t feel well-informed enough to offer it in the first place. So we've put all the best information in one place to tell you more about apprenticeships, why we love them and why we believe they are an alternative way to tap into some amazing potential. What actually is an apprenticeship? Who can apply for an apprenticeship? How do apprenticeships work? What do the different levels mean? How much do your apprentices get paid? How many hours a week does an apprentice work? Will I be guaranteed a job at the end? Do apprentices need to relocate? How to find apprenticeships Extra resources for parents Do I need to have studied relevant subjects to the scheme I am applying for? What level of apprenticeships do you offer? Will I be offered a role at the end of my apprenticeship? Can I apply for more that one apprenticeship programme? Graduate and Year in Industry Do Graduates also get a role after their programme? Can I apply to a graduate position if I need a visa? Can I apply to an internship/year in industry placement if I need a visa? No such thing as a silly question We always want to hear from interesting and talented people. So, if you have any questions about our Apprenticeship, Undergraduate or Graduate Programmes, or if there’s anything else you’d like to know before you apply (or during the application process), please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
