Site Engineer, Contract

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure contractor for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major delivery team in Banbury on a contract basis.

This is a great opportunity for a site engineer with HS2 experience to step into an established team and take ownership of a defined package of works from day one.

What you'll bring:

• Previous HS2 project experience (recent experience highly advantageous)
• Proven experience preparing RAMS, TBS, and ITPs
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD
• 2-3+ years of relevant site engineering experience, ideally with bridges/structures
• Solid understanding of quality assurance processes and site documentation
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of your area of the works
• Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with subcontractors and site teams
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset - someone who gets stuck in rather than waiting to be told
• The ability to integrate quickly into an existing delivery team and add value from day one

The role:
You'll be working as part of a structured delivery team on a live infrastructure scheme, with real responsibility and autonomy over your section of the works.
