Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point to See New Apartments by Bear Development
Bear Development LLC has been awarded $2.5 million in state and federal tax credits by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority to construct 96 apartments in the Walker’s Point neighborhood in Milwaukee. The planned four-story building, designed by Kahler Slater, will be located at First Street and National Avenue and will also include ground-floor retail spaces. This new development is part of an initiative to improve the availability of affordable housing in the area.
