About the Role
<p><strong>Planning Enforcement Officer needed in Stoke Paying £39.06 per hr ref 5298873</strong></p>
<p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong> </p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Investigate alleged breaches of planning control and unauthorised development.</li>
<li>Undertake site inspections and gather evidence to support enforcement action.</li>
<li>Assess complaints and determine whether breaches have occurred.</li>
<li>Negotiate with landowners, developers and agents to secure compliance.</li>
<li>Prepare and serve statutory notices, including Enforcement Notices, Breach of Condition Notices and Planning Contravention Notices.</li>
<li>Prepare reports, witness statements and evidence for appeals, hearings and prosecutions.</li>
<li>Provide professional advice on planning enforcement matters to colleagues, Members, residents and businesses.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate case records and ensure cases are progressed effectively and within agreed timescales.</li>
<li>Monitor compliance with enforcement notices and planning conditions.</li>
</ul>
