Live-out Housekeeper/Nanny in Notting Hill

On behalf of our private client, we are looking for a reliable, flexible, and experienced Live-out Housekeeper/Nanny to join a busy and welcoming household based in Notting Hill.

This is hybrid role combining childcare, household support, and light cooking - ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is happy to turn their hand to whatever is needed. The family has two children aged 11 and 12 years old.

A separate cleaner is already in place for approximately 15 hours per week (3 days per week), so the housekeeping duties is more about maintaining day-to-day tidiness and keeping things running smoothly rather than deep cleaning. Driving licence is mandatory for the role.

Live-out is preferred, though live-in could be considered for the right Housekeeper/Nanny.

Working hours / schedule:

• Monday to Friday, approximately 11:00am/12:00pm – 7:00pm (6 hours per day, with extra time)
• Additional hours available by mutual agreement (e.g. occasional babysitting)

Duties include:

• Keeping the home tidy, organised, and well-presented on a daily basis
• Preparing meals and assisting with basic cooking for the family
• Providing childcare support including after-school pickups, activities, and occasional babysitting
• Stocking up on food, household supplies, and personal items as needed
• Keeping an eye on cleaning standards and flagging any maintenance issues around the home
• Running errands and helping with the general day-to-day running of the household
• Carrying out any additional tasks as reasonably requested by the family
• Pet friendly as the family as a small dog

Salary: £22 – £25 per hour  (self-employed basis, depending on experience)

Start date: ASAP

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
