Fluency in other language is an advantage but not essential<br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>About the Company</strong><br /> Our client is a well-established international trading company, supplying specialist equipment to leading businesses across a wide range of industries across the globe.<br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>The Role</strong><br /> To join their international buying/procurement team, they are currently wish to recruit a <strong><em>Portuguese speaking Buyer/Procurement Administrator. </em></strong>In this role, you will manage product enquiries and orders from business clients in Angola, liaising with global suppliers, and ensure the efficient procurement and delivery of goods to the client.<br /> <br /> Your typical job responsibilities will include:<br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <ul> <li>Research and engage with new and existing vendors</li> <li>Source and compare pricing from multiple suppliers</li> <li>Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery agreements.</li> <li>Prepare and issue quotations to customers.</li> <li>Place and manage purchase orders.</li> <li>Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery</li> <li>Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to maintain delivery and quality standards</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Candidate Profile, Skills and Background</strong><br /> <br /> <br /> </p> <ul> <li>Fluent in Portuguese and English. Fluency in other language is an advantage but not essential</li> <li>Experience of working with Angola or from working with Portuguese speakers from Angola&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience of business culture with Angola is a major preference&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong administrative skills and experience working with customers</li> <li>Previous buying, procurement or purchasing experience is an advantage, though not essential</li> <li>Background in logistics or shipping is a plus</li> <li>Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential.</li> <li>Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Must have full right to live and work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Salary, Benefits and Working Hours</strong><br /> &pound;30,000 - &pound;35,000 (dependent on experience).<br /> <br /> How to Apply<br /> <br /> Send your CV and cover letter to:<br /> <br /> Jonathan Grimes</p>
