This position will support the outreach mission of the Admission Office through maintenance of a full schedule of visits to high schools and/or community and technical colleges and coordination of comprehensive recruitment plans and relationship building activities for an assigned territory. Responsibilities will include college fairs and/or transfer student success days, high school and/or community and technical college visits, career programs, recruitment of targeted populations, and meeting with and presenting to prospective students on campus. Responsibilities 1. Manage the recruitment activities for an assigned territory (70%) Identify students in the assigned territory who may be acceptable candidates for the University and engage them in the admissions process through a consistent effort of personal contact. Manage enrollment funnel in the assigned territory by moving students from inquiry to applicant to admitted student to enrollment. Provide proactive, thorough and timely information to students about the admission process, financial aid and costs, academic program, and student experience. Work with the rest of the admissions staff to develop the annual recruitment plan, including the annual calendar of admissions events, and implement activities and events as assigned. Assess the effectiveness of various recruitment tactics and initiate new activities and programs to support the achievement of enrollment goals. 2. Present to and meet with prospective students (20%) Conduct engaging and effective campus visits for individuals and groups. Make presentations to groups, including College Access Groups, who are visiting campus. Handle telephone, email, and in person inquiries from prospective students and their family members. 3. Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the Director and/or Associate Directors of Admissions (10%). Salary Range: $47,788 - $78,458/annually Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree completed upon hire Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Public presentation skills Evidence of the ability to work with people from culturally diverse backgrounds. Driver’s License Preferred Qualification Master’s degree in higher education, college counseling, or related program Knowledge and understanding of higher education systems Professional experience in admissions or marketing Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Other Requirements Please note that successful applicants must be eligible to work in the United States on or before the effective date of appointment.
