Saint Andrew Catholic School (Newtown, PA)

Saint Andrew Catholic School is seeking a dedicated C.A.R.E.S. Director for the 2026-2027
school year. This position is part time working from 2-6pm. Saint Andrew Catholic School offers
the Children are Receiving Extended Services (C.A.R.E.S.) program from September through
early June to support the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development of our
students before and after school hours. While the program engages students in activities, it is
largely supervision-based as opposed to enrichment-geared. Only students enrolled at Saint
Andrew Catholic Preschool and Saint Andrew Catholic School are eligible for these services.

Responsibilities include:

  Being present to work the afternoon program and oversee the parent sign outs
  Working with the school administration to help with the hiring and staffing needs of the
                      program.
  Creating and maintaining weekly staff schedules based on the student attendance outlook  

   Creating and maintaining daily game plans, the logistical supervision plan, for each day
  Monitoring and managing any student allergy and medical needs

Recording all day’s events, activities, and sign outs

Qualifications:
  All Catholic school required clearances as found on our website  

  Strong communication and collaboration skills
  Commitment to fostering a supportive and Catholic-centered safe environment
