<p><strong>DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared)</strong></p>

<p><strong><em>DevOps Engineer</em></strong> needed with active <strong><em>SC Security Clearance</em></strong> for a permanent position based in <strong><em>Reading</em></strong> (Hybrid). Start ASAP in Spring 2026.</p>
<p>Hybrid Working – primarily working from home (WFH), with travel to the office a few times a month on average.</p>
<p>A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects.</p>
<p>Key skills, experience + duties to include:</p>
<ul>
<li><em>DevOps Engineer</em> with strong to diagnose and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.</li>
<li>Tech Environment: Strong with experience with continuous integration, automated deployment, testing and relevant tooling (Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Linux, AWS EC2, S3 and EKS</li>
<li>Strong experience with AWS Cloud Solutions and services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, ALB, API Gateway, Autoscaling etc</li>
<li>Strong knowledge in Infrastructure-as-code tools (such as Ansible, Terraform, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience in creating automation framework using Ansible</li>
<li>Understanding in one or two Scripting and programming languages (such as Python/Perl, Groovy, Shell Scripting, etc.)</li>
<li>Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes (Ideally with EKS)</li>
<li>Experience in defining quality gates (integrating SonarQube Static Code analysis, running Regression suites, etc.) In the delivery pipeline</li>
<li>Agile development methods including: Scrum, TDD, BDD, Kanban.</li>
<li>Advantageous: Government / GOV.UK / Public Sector experience, Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes), AppDynamics, Angular, React, web apps, domain driven design</li>
