Warehouse & Manufacturing Operative

Our client is a successful and award winning engineering company based in Plympton, Plymouth. This role of Warehouse & Manufacturing Operator requires a high standard of work. The suitable candidate will work within a cross-functional team where duties include: Goods inward parts receipt, packing, dispatch and performing manufacturing processes as required. The successful applicant will have previous experience working within a factory environment. You must also have strong work ethos, with a drive to be successful. Be responsible and take ownership to ensure work requirements are understood and performed to the specified requirements, in a timely manner Stock receipt/booking using the ERP stock management system Maintenance and updating of goods inward and inspection records Preparation of outbound orders, completion of traceability records and completion of ERP transactions Packing and dispatch of outbound goods Perform manufacturing tasks including: Assembly, paint and metalworking processes Continually seek to improve Quality, Performance and Efficiency Close and cohesive interaction with the Manufacturing team Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other related tasks as required The successful applicant will have the following; ‘Can do’ attitude and will ensure tasks are completed, whatever is required. Professional approach taking ownership to complete tasks to the required standard and Ability to establish priorities and work independently. Effective and efficient completion of tasks. Ability to communicate effectively and concisely at varying levels. High level of attention to detail. Skill to use computers and various software packages including Microsoft Office.
