If you have a deep passion for constructing infrastructure that enhances communities and are prepared to take the lead, this position presents challenges, exposure, and extensive career advancement prospects.</p> <hr> <h2><strong>Responsibilities of the Project Supervisor</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Directing Project Triumph</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee all stages of heavy civil construction projects—from launch to completion—ensuring timely, cost-effective results with outstanding quality.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate closely with General Superintendents, Superintendents, and Foremen to build a cohesive, high-performing field team.</p> </li> <li> <p>Set project objectives, scope, milestones, and deliverables in line with client expectations and company guidelines.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Leading Planning &amp; Implementation</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Create and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and resource allocations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct regular onsite inspections to evaluate progress, validate workmanship, monitor safety compliance, and identify risks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Oversee procurement activities including bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Assuring Quality, Safety &amp; Compliance</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain strict oversight of construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges promptly and clearly.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure full compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and all federal, state, and local regulations.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Communication &amp; Coordination</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Act as the primary liaison among owners, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare weekly project status reports, monthly invoices, submittals, RFIs, and other necessary documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain project records using the organization’s SharePoint-based filing system.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in monthly WIP reviews and offer precise, timely forecasts.</p> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Supporting Business Expansion</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Assist leadership in business development activities, meetings, and engagements with private developers, mining groups, and DOT clients.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support recruitment efforts through candidate screening, interviewing, and assessment.</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Additional Duties</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain detailed and accurate expense reports and credit card receipts.</p> </li> <li> <p>Review project time sheets for payroll precision and correct job cost categorization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Aid in maintaining MSHA compliance documents.</p> </li> <li> <p>Attend mandatory Contour, OSHA, and MSHA training sessions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain a professional appearance and keep personal work vehicle in prime condition.</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Core Assignments</strong></h2> <ul> <li> <p>Formulate comprehensive project execution plans, including procurement, logistics, and resource strategies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate daily construction activities and ensure adherence to schedule and specifications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on expertise and cost efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor project KPIs, track progress, and provide clear and consistent updates to stakeholders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage all project documentation including permits, drawings, contracts, and change orders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead or participate in project meetings to address challenges and ensure alignment with objectives.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct project evaluations upon completion to identify improvements and implement corrective actions when needed.</p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Qualifications &amp;
