Sacco Mann is working with a reputable and forward-thinking law firm based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, who are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager to join their leadership team on a permanent basis.

This is a key strategic role, responsible for overseeing and optimising the firm’s operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance and consistently high service standards. The role would also suit a qualified Solicitor looking to step away from a fee-earning position and move into a senior operational and management role within a law firm.

The Role

As Legal Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the firm’s day-to-day operational framework, with responsibilities including:

• Overseeing and optimising legal operations to improve efficiency and service delivery

• Implementing best practices, policies and procedures across the firm

• Managing and developing operational teams to ensure high performance

• Leading training and retraining initiatives to support continuous improvement

• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and risk management requirements

• Working closely with partners, fee earners and support teams to support business objectives

• Driving process optimisation and effective use of legal technology and systems

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager within the legal sector, or a qualified Solicitor with strong operational, supervisory or management experience

• Background in legal operations, compliance, process improvement or practice management

• Experience designing and implementing training and development programmes

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent organisational and communication abilities

• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage change

• Confident using legal case management systems and operational technology
