This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established optical practice as an Optical Assistant in Tynemouth. You will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting the dispensing team and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise in optical sales and customer service will help deliver tailored solutions and a memorable experience for every patient.
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Support the dispensing team with frame selection and lens options
- Ensure accurate measurements and recordings for spectacles and contact lenses
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the practice
- Manage appointments and patient records efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries and offering advice
- Assist with stock management and merchandising
- Uphold clinical and confidentiality standards in line with company policies
- Must have optical experience
