About the Role

Tottington High School is seeking an exceptional and ambitious Lead Practitioner in Mathematics to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to drive excellence in mathematics teaching and learning across the school, supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality lessons and ensuring strong outcomes for all students. The successful candidate will be a highly effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising attainment. As a Lead Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with the mathematics department and wider school staff to develop teaching practice, support curriculum innovation, and lead professional development. In our secondary schools, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach to curriculum design, to ensure all our schools have breadth and ambition for all students, regardless of their starting points and barriers. Standard curriculum models don’t always engage all students, so we constantly seek to innovate and provide better opportunities to develop both knowledge and skills for life.
