Domestic Services Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Domestic Services Team Leader based in Bedford for one of our clients on a permanent basis.  Summary of the Domestic Services Team Leader role  Salary: £26,711 FTE Location: Bedford  Type of Contract: Permanent   Hours: Monday – Friday 2.30pm-7.30pm & Saturdays (term time) 12pm-3pm  Responsibilities of the Domestic Services Team Leader Supervise and line manage the Domestic Services Team Organise and deliver first-class cleaning and housekeeping standards Comply with policies and current and future legislation that relates to the domestic services departments. Assist with weekly stocktakes and report ordering Use reporting systems to report any maintenance issues Ensure that all equipment is safe, in working order and regularly inspected Carry out/organise transport duties and tasks as and when required Prepare and issue all cleaning equipment, chemicals and materials and notify when stocks run low Requirements for a successful Domestic Services Team Leader Good IT skills and a good standard of literacy and numeracy Good communication skills Driving license Experience in managing or supervising a large team and monitoring KPI’s Experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role An understanding of Manual Handling & Health and Safety at work Organisational and time-keeping skills About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
